On the 27th of February, Sparta Digital along with a delegation of Manchester businesses, Universities and the City Council attended the City Circle Summit in our Sister City of Wuhan, China. The delegation was made up of 24 partners and was led by Sir Richard Leese.

After a great success of buzzin at Manchester Pride 2017, we are bringing more augmented reality experiences to Manchester this November. This time buzzin app is working by animating Christmas mugs - people can scan mugs while enjoying their mulled wine or hot chocolate and reveal the hidden Augmented Reality treat. When visitors arrive at The Markets, they can see all the most important points of interest around the area, such as free ATMs, main stalls. toilets and ice rink, through buzzin's Augmented Reality view. There’s something for everybody though - such as an augmented reality game for kids to play around the Markets, catching elves to help Santa to deliver all the gifts.

“We’re continuously looking into new ways of engaging citizens with the city around them, and potential collaboration within AR & other new technologies in the Malaysian market would definitely open many doors for us and bring in new ideas. Here in Manchester we are currently working to bring the fun and excitement of AR technology to the Christmas Markets this November, so watch this space.”

We have teamed up with Manchester Pride to create 'buzzin', an augmented reality (AR) app for Manchester The Pride’s Big Weekend. It allows users to see hidden information and images scattered around the site and is visible only to those with the buzzin app.
