How we enabled swift interactions between drivers and the back office

Background:

McBurney Transport Group already has management system for all their truck drivers on legacy systems. McBurney Transport Group were looking for a way to facilitate their drivers to interact with the office in an increasingly digital way, reducing back office paperwork. We knew we had a solution for them.

Challenge:

implement upgrades to the system with no disruption.

Solution:

How we created an integrated management system for drivers that allows them to speed up reporting using new intuitive data interface. The result is better experience, less frustration for drivers and better delivery times.

Our team at Sparta Digital sat down together and designed the system and mobile app, which includes pre-trip check sheet, daily work schedule, expenses, uniform requests, diary requests & alerts and location tracking.

In order to achieve our goal we created wireframes and prototypes, working closely with the client on a daily basis. We adopted an agile approach, concentrating on the client’s feedback. In the final stage a group of driver’s trialled the app to ensure we provided the best solution.
